I created this for The Golden Thread Foundation in 2006. The foundation was formed to provide hand-knit blankets to premature babies of needy women. We picked this design because of its gentle curves, with just a hint of the baby's sleeping head. This design, although simple, offers great versatility. It's very easy to reproduce in a variety of formats, colors, and sizes, e.g. business cards, letterhead, t-shirts.

I created this fictitious logo utilizing Inkscape, a free, open-source vector editing program. I borrowed some techniques from Nick Saporito, professional designer. I wanted to make it resemble an advertisement you might see from 1905 in a farm supply magazine.

I created this fictitious logo as a way of practicing Inkscape. It looks much like the Twitter logo, and you'll see this kind of design online everywhere.
